I’m now back as a representative of LOCALA and very happy to be part of the Charities Working Group who get to decide which community groups get a share in the Locala Community Fund worth £5,000. Yesterday (Sunday) morning I read through 50 applications which was a total request of just over £42,000! It wasn’t an easy task having to decide which groups should receive funding as there’s some amazing volunteers out there doing great work.
