Friends of Batley Station - Cllr Gwen Lowe

Recently there was an RMT strike with only 40% of Northern trains in operation. As Chair of the Friends of Batley Station FOBS) myself and other FOBS members volunteered to chat to train users about the limited train service and to help ensure a safe journey. 

On Saturday FOBS were presented with a cheque for £200 – thank you to Bilal for nominating us and to ASDA and its customers for their support!
