absolutely outstanding achievement.
Carol Stump, Chief Librarian
Kirklees Council stated 'This is entirely
down to the fantastic work of all library staff, Friends and volunteers who
have stayed on this difficult journey with us – so thanks to all.I will keep
you informed of progress and we may be coming to talk to some of you as we put
together our presentation for the judging.'
Also,
congratulations to the Transcription team who have been shortlisted in
the Public Service category in the Kirklees Council Inclusion and Diversity
Awards 2019.
The awards recognise and reward individuals, organisations
and teams that are passionate about inclusion and diversity, those who strive
to include others who might otherwise be excluded from activities and
opportunities, and are inventive in the ways they achieve it.
