Kirklees youth Council meeting on Friday afternoon.
Kirklees youth Council held a meeting to discuss the various things they are doing on Friday afternoon in the Council Chamber.This fantastic event was supported by quite a few Councillors who listened to the presentations and asked questions of the members of the Youth Council.
It was pleasing to see the Dewsbury MP Paula Sherriff take the time out of her busy schedule to attend. Kirklees Mayor Cllr Jim Dodd's, also attended.
It's good to see that so many of our young people are interested in local and national politics, and judging by the passion and knowledge they displayed, it does look like the future of the political system is in safe hands.
