If you live in a terrace house in Dewsbury you are now getting £60 per person less in council services than you did in 2010.
But if you are living in a £2m house in Oxfordshire, where the PM lives you are getting £50 more. But that will not stop you writing to your local council, as David Cameron did, telling them you want more services than they are providing.
You must also remember that Kirklees's only Tory MP justified this by claiming that we were getting more money than the Shire Councils and it was only fair to adjust this. This ignored the fact that money used to be allocated on a basis of need rather than greed.
