Gomersal resident Emily Warrillow gave a deputation to cabinet about her efforts to get the Maccess building on Spen Lane demolished.
Emily started a petition that has received 500 signatures and presented it to cabinet.
She is thirteen and I believe the youngest person to address cabinet. She is actively involved with Liversedge & Gomersal Labour party branch has been door knocking and leafleting on many occasions.
Emily is an impressive young lady who is an example to us all.
