I have now been serving the local community as elected Labour Councillor for Batley East Ward for the past 9 years. This has been a great honour for me and I am very pleased to be able to continue this service to my local community.Ward work continues to be the most important part of my responsibility as a local councillor, as this is the time I meet residents, listen to their concerns and try to help with their problems.
I attend ward meetings regularly and also continue to conduct home visits to address resident's concerns. I have continued to attend meetings and Estate Inspections with Batley Area Housing Officers and TRA representatives.
