We have achieved agreement from Metro for funding from the 1014/15 program of works, that hopefully will see work begin this summer on Heckmondwike bus station. Though this is great news the uncertain position the Council is in means we can not construct a Library at the same time. We (Heckmondwike Councillors) see the Bus Station as the main priority and will be relieved when work starts.
