As with many things this year, the Remembrance commemorations will look a little different. The Mayor of Kirklees, Councillor Mumtaz Hussain and the Leader of Kirklees Council, Councillor Shabir Pandor invite you all to join them at 10.50am on 8 November for a special Civic Service as we remember those who gave their greatest sacrifice for our freedom.
Our special film includes pre-recorded footage from services recently held at Dewsbury Minster and Huddersfield Parish Church and includes a 2-minute silence at 11am along with the laying of wreaths, prayers, readings and hymns.
