GUNS & DONALD
Is anyone surprised that The Donald didn’t mention guns.
Remember that one of his early “achievements” was to block the legislation that
tried to prevent people with mental health problems from buying assault rifles.
Remember we too had a school shooting, Dunblane, our reaction
was thankfully different, a total ban on hand guns. Yes there were a number of
people who claimed it was too drastic, but fortunately they did not hold sway.
It did unfortunately have an effect on the openness of schools that it could be
argued went too far in cutting schools off from the communities they serve, but
contrast that with the “Airport” level security for all schools being proposed by
The Donald.
