STATE THEFT
Council Houses were built and paid for by local people. When Thatcher wanted to give a bribe to families just on the basis that they had been lucky to be allocated a house by their council, she should have paid for central government money, instead she stole it from local councils.We now have a situation where these houses are now owned by private landlords (40%) and the State, through Housing Benefit is paying much more that it does for council owned houses it has not yet stolen.
The scheme is morally wrong, economically wrong and Socially wrong.
The Labour Party Nationally is compliant with this corrupt policy by refusing to address it.
