Javid shuffle part 2

After his smoke and mirrors stunt last week on local Government finance.  Sajid Javid also appears to be a little bit hypocritical on his views on green belt, when it is in his constituency.
I don't suppose we should be surprised by this after all he is a former banker and now a Tory Minister

CPRE: Backlash over government house build forecasts
The Government faces a backlash from constituents, according to the Campaign to Protect Rural England, after government planning experts recommended increases of up to 25% in house-building forecasts in the Home Counties. The news comes ahead of a major push, which could include relaxing building restrictions in the new year to encourage more home-building, and campaigners warn the new assault on housing will create "battles across England" because of the ambition of the targets. A Communities and Local Government spokesman responded: "These are spurious claims… It is for elected local councils to decide where new homes should and shouldn't go." Meanwhile, communities secretary, Sajid Javid, who has himself called for new homes to be built in the green belt, has tried to discourage such developments in his own constituency, according to the Sunday Times. Mr Javid twice wrote to the Planning Inspectorate objecting to plans to allocate green-belt land for housing in his Bromsgrove constituency in Worcestershire despite having last month made a speech calling for councils to consider releasing green-belt land for housing, and the likely formalisation of that idea next month when he presents a white paper on the matter.
