The government in it's relentless pursuit of punishing the poor for being poor, sets great store on its "Benefits cap". Limiting the amount of state subsidy any family can get in any year.
This policy is now totally ignored in the governments bribe to housing association tenants. Housing associations taking part in the right to buy scheme will be expected to sell properties to tenants interested in buying them at a discount of £103,900 in London and £77,900 elsewhere.
Yes that's a state benefit, in one day of £103,900. To rub salt into the wound even larger state handouts are to be given to rich people who can afford to buy their own expensive houses.
To pay for this bribe the government is robbing Local Authorities by forcing the sale of their best council houses. They will be robbing the people of Kirklees to give hand-outs to Housing Association Tenants in London who will then be allowed to sell them to Russian investors at a massive profit.The Mafia would be proud of some of the schemes this government have devised.
