Heckmondwike Planning News
The daffodils must have inspired our local developers as they defiantly have sprung into action this week.
A Stable Block on White Lee was granted permission as was a new shop frontage at 9-11 High Street (not sure exactly which shop but somewhere near Sammy's.
The window saga in Victoria Street continues with one application granted and another "deemed" withdrawn, let us hope that this time the developer and builder comply with the conditions, something they have failed to do for months.
The three home development to the rear of Leeds Old Road (on Field Close - but I presume they have no access so they call it Leeds Old Road) has asked for a change to the conditions to the permission they already have.
The Crown have also asked for the conditions imposed on their permission to convert into 4 flats to be varied. (must explain "The Crown" referred to is the pub on Halifax Road not Elizabeth).
Prospect House on Norristhorpe Lane have asked for permission to do some tree work and the developer at 92 Leeds Road has asked to modify the house types.
