Proposed Arrangements in Relation to Dormant Charity Funds: The Council currently manages a number of charitable trust funds which are essentially dormant. This report sets out a proposal for consideration by Cabinet for the Council as trustees, to close down these trust funds and to transfer their attaching assets to a third party organisation (registered charity) who have complimentary objects and can use the assets in line with the intentions of the original benefactors. It also makes proposals in relation to a number of other charitable trust funds. See the full report.

Newsome Ward Community Forum Neighbourhood Forum and Neighbourhood Area Applications The purpose of this report is to inform the Cabinet of the comments received in response to the six week publicity on Newsome Ward Community Forum’s applications to become a relevant body for the purposes of neighbourhood planning and its proposed neighbourhood planning area. Following consideration of the comments received, Cabinet is requested to consider approval of Newsome Ward Community Forum as a Neighbourhood Forum and designation of the neighbourhood area as required by Part 6 Chapter 3 and Schedule 9 of the Localism Act 2011 and National Planning Practice Guidance.
