There has been a very mixed bag of planning applications
this last couple of weeks but these are the highlights.
At 64 Cowlersley Lane there have been two requests, one to
put a satellite dish up and the other to replace existing windows with
alternative windows that are similar to the existing ones. These
applications have been needed as this is a listed building. Officers are
due to decide on this matter.
In Milnsbridge, officers have given permission for
Jitterbugs Day Nursery to replace an existing modular building with another one
on Royd Street. I can only assume the original one was old and needed
replacing.
On Grove Street at Longwood officers will decide if the work
on trees at that site is acceptable.
40 Dodlee Lane is a listed building in a conservation
area. The owners have been given permission to change the use of some the
land to domestic so a two storey extension and off road parking can be
constructed.
At 414 Leymoor Road permission has been granted to demolish
the existing building and build three dwellings within this conservation area.
Officers have received a request regarding land off Fullwood
Drives, Golcar for 10 new homes to be built and finally, at 15 Station Road,
the owners are asking to build a two storey extension.
Many thanks
