This year has probably been one of my busiest years since I was first elected as a councillor back in 2012. To represent my constituents and residents of the Dewsbury South Ward, which covers the areas of; Whitley, Briestfield, Thornhill, Thornhill Lees, & Savile Town.
There have been many new groups and organisations that I have helped and supported through the challenging and difficult times that we are currently facing and will be facing this year too. Through the cuts that are being forced upon us through the government.
I would not have been able to deal and address these challenges without the support of the Labour Group Office and Kirklees Council Officers.
I would also once again like to thank my colleague Councillor Masood Ahmed for his continued support, advice and guidance in these difficult times.
