Each year, on the second Saturday in May, Golcar closes its main street to allow frivolity to take over.
From 10 am until 4 pm there will be music and home-made food on the streets and in all the local churches. Also there will be stalls instead of cars in the Townend car park.
Colne Valley Museum is open all day as is the Scouting Centre on Manor Road and Golcar’s very own brewery off Swallow Lane so all tastes are catered for!
Admission to all venues is free so there are lots for everyone to do without your visit breaking the bank or your children’s piggy bank.
It will be great for you to come along for a real community day out.
